Mr. Crabtree assumed the CEO role at EIRMC in 1999, prior to which he served as COO of the hospital.

During his tenure, EIRMC was designated as a level II trauma center. Mr. Crabtree helped establish the region’s only level III neonatal intensive care unit at the hospital and oversaw around $93 million in renovations and expansion. He also spearheaded the development of the Idaho Cancer Center at EIRMC.

Mr. Crabtree played a key role in creating the hospital consortium — a partnership between EIRMC and five hospitals focused on sharing services and enhancing care delivery at the regional level.
