1. Mr. Sloan most recently worked at Charleston-based Medical University of South Carolina, where he served as administrator for the digestive disease center, support services and emergency medicine.
2. He has also previously served as manager of performance services at Durham, N.C.-based Duke University Health System.
3. In his new role, Mr. Sloan oversees day-to-day operations at Duke Raleigh Hospital across both inpatient and outpatient service lines.
