Mooresville, N.C.-based Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital named Andrew Gross, MD, chief medical officer.
Dr. Gross, a neurologist/neuro-ophthalmologist, first joined the hospital as medical staff in 2014. He is also the founder of First in Flight Neurology, according to a July 8 hospital Facebook post. Moreover, Dr. Gross is a licensed pilot and Aviation Medical Examiner, and was recognized for delivering supplies to western North Carolina following the 2024 floods.
