Dr. Vicenta Gaspar-Yoo to lead Allegheny Valley Hospital as president: 3 things to know

Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Health Network appointed Vicenta C. Gaspar-Yoo, MD, president of Natrona Heights, Pa.-based Allegheny Valley Hospital, effective July 1.

Three things to know:

1. Most recently, Dr. Gaspar-Yoo served as system physician adviser and system physician lead for human resource management observation improvement at Cleveland-based University Hospitals.

2. She was previously CMO of UH Bedford (Ohio) Medical Center and
UH Richmond Medical Center in Richmond Heights, Ohio.

3. In addition to her medical training, Dr. Gaspar-Yoo holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management in Cleveland.
