Oklahoma City-based Integris Health tapped Tommy Ibrahim, MD, to serve as CMO, according to a NewsOK report.

Here are five takeaways:

1. Dr. Ibrahim most recently served as vice president of medical affairs and chief physician officer at Mercy Health Network in West Des Moines, Iowa.

2. He previously served as chief physician executive at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Ill., according to a press release from Mercy.

3. In his new role, Dr. Ibrahim will be responsible for quality, safety and care management processes across Integris' facilities.
