Helena, Mont.-based St. Peter's Hospital hired Shelly Harkins, MD, to serve as CMO.

1. Dr. Harkins most recently served as medical director at the Center for Hospice in South Bend, Ind.
2. Her previous role include system CMO at Beacon Health System in South Bend and CMO at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville, Ill.
3. Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Hospice and Palliative Care, Dr. Harkins also earned a master of healthcare administration degree from Saint Louis University.
