Dr. Dixon most recently served as interim medical director at Satilla Health Services in Waycross, Ga., as well as medical director at Tift General Hospital in Tifton, Ga., and as director at former South Georgia Health Partner also in Valdosta.
South Georgia Medical Center officially acquired Smith Northview Hospital in September.
