Dr. Rick Weiner is Winchester Hospital’s new CEO & CMO: 4 notes

Burlington, Mass.-based Lahey Health tapped Rick Weiner, MD, as CEO and CMO of Winchester (Mass.) Hospital, effective Oct. 1.

Here are four notes:

1. Dr. Weiner currently serves as vice president of medical affairs for Winchester Hospital.

2. He worked at the hospital since 1987, serving in numerous leadership roles, including medical staff president.

3. A vascular surgeon, Dr. Weiner completed his fellowship at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington.

4. He replaces Dale Lodge, who will retire on Sept. 30, after serving as CEO since 2015.
