Four notes:
1. Dr. Testa has served as chief physician executive for San Francisco-based Dignity Health Southern California since January 2017. Dignity Health merged with Englewood, Colo.-based Catholic Health Initiatives in February to form CommonSpirit Health.
2. He was previously CMO of Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, Calif.
3. He was also an associate professor of clinical emergency medicine at the USC Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles.
4. In his new role, Dr. Testa will oversee care delivery at nine acute care hospitals and four micro-hospitals in Southern California and Nevada.
