Dr. Michael Edbauer to succeed Dennis Horrigan as Catholic Medical Partners CEO

Buffalo, N.Y.-based Catholic Medical Partners, part of Buffalo-based Catholic Health System, has selected Michael Edbauer, DO, to succeed Dennis R. Horrigan as CEO after Mr. Horrigan retires at the end of 2015, according to The Buffalo News.

Currently, Dr. Edbauer is the chief clinical officer at Catholic Health. He will be the first physician to run Catholic Medical Partners since it was formed in 1996.

Mr. Horrigan has served as CEO since 2005. According to a statement, Mr. Horrigan said much of his vision for the organization has been accomplished and it was a good time to transition Catholic Medical Partners’ leadership to Dr. Edbauer.
