Dr. Murphy comes to Sharp Grossmont, which is part of Sharp HealthCare, from Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford, Ore., where he has been the vice president of medical affairs. His previous experience includes vice president of medical affairs at City Hospital in Martinsburg, Va., and private practice in Salem, Ore.
