Dr. Kevin O’Neil to serve as CMO of Ascension Senior Living

St. Louis-based Ascension Senior Living appointed Kevin O’Neil, MD, CMO. Ascension Senior Living, part of Ascension, is one of the largest nonprofit senior living providers in the United States.

In his new role, Dr. O’Neil will be responsible for driving the clinical and quality strategy and goals of Ascension Senior Living. A geriatrics physician, he is also a clinical professor in the aging studies department at the University of South Florida in Tampa.

Most recently, he served as vice president and chief medical officer for Brookdale Senior Living in Brentwood, Tenn. He also previously served as an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worchester.

Dr. O’Neil serves on the editorial board of The Medical Roundtable: General Medicine Edition, and he is co-editor and a contributing writer to “Optimal Aging Manual.”
