Dr. Jake O’Shea is Johnston-Willis Hospital’s new CMO: 3 things to know

Richmond-based Hospital Corporation of America Virginia selected Jake O’Shea, MD, to serve as CMO of Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond, a newly created position.

Here are three things to know:

1. Dr. O’Shea most recently served as the chief medical information officer at HCA’s Capital Division, also based in Richmond.

2. He will continue to serve in the CMIO role, but in a limited capacity.

3. He is board certified in both emergency medicine and clinical informatics. He previously practiced in Virginia and is a past president of the Virginia College of Emergency Physicians.
