Dr. Cary Ward to serve as interim president at CHI Health St. Elizabeth: 4 things to know

Omaha, Neb.-based CHI Health selected CMO Cary Ward, MD, to serve as interim president of CHI Health St. Elizabeth in Lincoln, Neb., according to a Lincoln Journal Star report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Dr. Ward, currently CMO of CHI Health, previously served as CMO at CHI Health St. Elizabeth.

2. He’s replacing current CHI Health St. Elizabeth President Kim Moore, who is retiring in July.

3. Dr. Ward will likely serve as interim president for six months while CHI searches for a permanent replacement for Ms. Moore.

4. An internal medicine specialist by training, Dr. Ward has also earned an MBA degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
