Don Halliwill. CFO of Carilion Clinic (Roanoke, Va.). Mr. Halliwill was appointed CFO of Carilion Clinic in 2013 to replace Donald E. Lorton after he retired. Mr. Halliwill joined Carilion in 1997, and served in numerous capacities — including director of finance for the New River Valley Region, CEO for CarilionNew RiverValleyMedicalCenter in Christiansburg, Va., and CFO for the organization’s hospital division — before he became CFO. Outside of work, Mr. Halliwill is involved in the VintonBaptistChurch and the Vinton Chamber of Commerce.
