Calvin Glidewell Named CEO of Broward General, Chris Evert Children’s in Florida

Calvin Glidewell has been named CEO of Broward General Medical Center and Chris Evert Children’s Hospital, both located in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and part of public Broward Health system, according to a health system news release.

Mr. Glidewell has served as CEO of Imperial Point Medical Center, also part of Broward Health, since 2007. Prior to joining Broward Health, Mr. Glidewell spent 16 years with the non-profit University Community Health System in Tampa, Fla., as CEO of University Community Hospital-Medical Center and University Community Hospital-Carrollwood.
