Mr. Ferguson previously was a senior executive at online payment company PayPal. He is taking over the chief executive role at Doctor on Demand from Adam Jackson, who earlier this year mutually decided with Doctor on Demand’s board to step down.

I leave knowing that the company is in very able hands.”
Doctor on Demand signed its 400th major corporate customer earlier this year, according to the company.
