DMC’s Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan taps permanent CEO: 5 points

The Detroit Medical Center named Patty Jobbitt permanent CEO of the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan in Detroit.

1. Ms. Jobbitt became interim CEO of the facility since Aug. 31, 2018.

2. She joined the institute 1983 as a staff physical therapist.

3. She has served in several leadership roles at RIM, including administrative director and COO.

4. Ms. Jobbitt is also vice president for the DMC orthopedic and sports medicine service line.

5. She holds a master’s degree in health science administration from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant.
