Dignity taps California hospital COO

San Francisco-based Dignity Health has named Tadren Kennedy as COO of Dignity Health Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento, Calif.

Mr. Kennedy will oversee hospital operations and partner with clinical and administrative teams to support patient care across the Sacramento region, according to an Oct. 22 Dignity news release.

He most recently served as COO of Keck Medicine of USC – Verdugo Hills Hospital in Los Angeles, where he led efforts to expand surgical and imaging services, improve financial performance and increase patient satisfaction. His previous experience includes executive roles at New Orleans-based Ochsner Health and Nashville Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.

Dignity Health operates 41 acute care hospitals and more than 400 care centers across Arizona, California and Nevada.
