Nicole Whims, MSN, RN, has been named chief nursing officer of Dignity Health St. Bernadine Medical Center in San Bernardino, Calif.
Ms. Whims has served in several leadership roles since joining the 342-bed hospital as a graduate nurse in 2006. She had been serving as interim CNO since January. Prior to that, she was the senior director of medical-surgical and telemetry nursing.
Ms. Whims led the opening of a transactional care clinic designed to ensure patients discharged from the hospital are seen within seven days, according to an April 14 news release sent to Becker’s.
