Dignity Health taps California regional vice president

San Francisco-based Dignity Health has appointed Robert Miller as regional vice president of marketing and communications for California.

Mr. Miller brings more than 25 years of healthcare marketing experience to the role, previously serving as chief marketing officer at Chicago-based Gateway Foundation, according to a May news release from the health system shared with Becker’s.

He also served as president of Boca Raton, Fla.-based BPD Healthcare, one of the largest health system marketing firms in the U.S., according to the release.

Dignity Health, part of Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health, includes 29 acute-care hospitals and more than 35,000 employees.
