His role will include oversight of five of the health system’s hospitals and emergency departments, according to an Oct. 13 news release shared with Becker’s.
Dr. Waters most recently served as CMO of Dignity Health St. Bernardine Medical Center in San Bernardino, Calif. Before that, he was the interim president and CEO of Nexus Fort Washington Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Waters is the founder of Law-4-Docs.com, an online education resource designed to help providers understand liability risks, according to LinkedIn. He is also the CMO of Dunwoody, Ga.-based HanGenix Solutions, a digital healthcare company.
He has more than 30 years of clinical experience in emergency and internal medicine and serves as a faculty member at University of California Riverside Medical School, the news release said.
