Moses Lake, Wash.-based Samaritan has appointed Alex Town as its new CEO.
Mr. Town succeeds Theresa Sullivan, who retired after serving as CEO from October 2015 through May, according to a May 27 hospital news release.
Mr. Town joined Samaritan in 2017 and has held several executive leadership roles with the organization, including CFO and chief administrative officer.
During Ms. Sullivan’s tenure, Samaritan expanded healthcare services and recruited more than 40 physicians and providers to strengthen access to primary and specialty care across the region. The system also opened a new medical campus in March.
Samaritan operates the 50-bed Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake, as well as two clinics.
