Deaconess Hospital CEO Bill Gilbert Resigns

Spokane, Wash.-based Deaconess Hospital CEO Bill Gilbert has announced his resignation, according to a Spokesman-Review report.

Mr. Gilbert has accepted a position with Deaconess Hospital’s corporate owner, Community Health Systems in Brentwood, Tenn., according to the report.

A Community Health System vice president, Rod Schumacher, will serve as interim CEO of Deaconess Hospital, according to the report.
