D.C.’s United Medical Center CFO Derrick Hollings Dismissed

Derrick Hollings, CFO of United Medical Center in Washington D.C., has been dismissed by the District’s CFO Natwar Gandhi, according to a Washington Business Journal report.

Mr. Hollings was hired as CFO while the hospital was owned by Specialty Hospitals of America. After the ownership change to District control in 2010, Mr. Hollings’ position became a one-year contract. While Mr. Hollings will remain the hospital’s executive vice president, the new CFO will have limited duties and a lower salary, according to the report.

United Medical Center CEO Frank DeLisi has requested that hospital board of directors consider Mr. Hollings as a leader for hospital operations.
