Tuscaloosa, Ala.-based DCH Health System has promoted Briana Houston to vice president of marketing and communications, making permanent a role she has held on an interim basis since late May.
Ms. Houston oversees the system’s marketing and communications strategy, including media relations, internal and external communications, digital and social media, brand management and community engagement, per an Oct. 2 news release.
She joined the three-hospital system in September 2024 as director of business outreach. In that role, she built relationships with providers and community partners and supported growth across the system’s outpatient services and physician practices. She has more than 10 years of experience in marketing, business development and strategic growth, most of it in healthcare.
