Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, N.H., has named Michael Lynch, MD, as president and CEO, effective Oct. 13.
Dr. Lynch will succeed Sue Mooney, MD, who is exiting the organization, according to a Sept. 18 hospital news release. He has served as chief medical officer at the hospital since June 2019 and also practices clinically in emergency services at APD and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
During his tenure, Dr. Lynch helped lead the hospital’s transition to an Epic EHR system, integrated Dartmouth Hitchcock’s hospital medicine team into APD, and oversaw emergency department staffing through DHMC. He also played a leadership role during the COVID-19 pandemic and guided surgical services expansion.
Dr. Mooney announced her plans to retire in April.
