Danville Regional Medical Center names new CMO

Danville (Va.) Regional Medical Center has named Ross Taylor, MD, as the new CMO, according to a GoDanRiver report.

Dr. Taylor is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with 14 years of experience in healthcare, including maintaining and promoting surgical quality initiatives, developing outpatient service lines, measuring and improving quality of care and peer-review leadership.

Danville Regional COO Spencer Thomas called the hospital “extremely fortunate” to have Dr. Taylor join the team in a recent release.

“With his hands-on experience in healthcare and his dedication to quality and safety, Taylor will ensure DRMC continues to be the leading healthcare provider in the Dan River Region,” stated Mr. Thomas.

Dr. Taylor’s start date is set for Sept. 1.
