Dr. Chaguturu will succeed Mike Pykosz, former CEO of Oak Street Health, who decided to exit the company, according to a Nov. 19 news release.
In his new role, Dr. Chaguturu will retain his current role as executive vice president and CMO for CVS Health.
Prior to joining CVS, Dr. Chaguturu served as chief population health officer for Boston-based Mass General Brigham.
