Crouse Hospital promotes Kimberly Rose to CIO

Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, N.Y., has promoted Kimberly Rose from director of IT to CIO.

In her new role, Ms. Rose will oversee IT operations at the hospital as well as at affiliates Crouse Medical Practice and Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton, N.Y.

As director of IT, Ms. Rose oversaw the implementation of the hospital’s patient portal and computerized physician order entry system. In her new role, she will continue to lead the implementation of Crouse Hospital’s new Soarian EMR system, scheduled for a 2015 go-live.
