Craig McCoy is the new president of Mercy Springfield Communities

Mercy Springfield Communities, part of St. Charles, Mo.-based Mercy, has named Craig McCoy president.

Mr. McCoy brings a decade of health system CEO experience to the role.

Most recently, he was CEO of Bon Secours St. Francis Health System in Greenville, S.C.

Mr. McCoy earned a bachelor’s degree in business and then, while working as a paramedic, earned a master’s in healthcare administration.

He will replace interim Mercy Springfield Communities President Jon Swope, who will remain senior vice president and Mercy central region president.
