Mr. McCoy brings a decade of health system CEO experience to the role.
Most recently, he was CEO of Bon Secours St. Francis Health System in Greenville, S.C.
Mr. McCoy earned a bachelor’s degree in business and then, while working as a paramedic, earned a master’s in healthcare administration.
He will replace interim Mercy Springfield Communities President Jon Swope, who will remain senior vice president and Mercy central region president.
