Here are five things to know:
1. As an employee of executive search firm B.E. Smith, Mr. Fisher previously served as interim CFO of the hospital, starting in May 2017.
2. He also served as interim CFO of Cordova (Alaska) Community Medical Center and Northfield (Minn.) Hospital & Clinics while at B.E. Smith.
3. Previously, he was CFO at Berwick (Pa.) Hospital Center and Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, N.Y., among other organizations.
4. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and Healthcare Financial Management Association.
5. Mr. Fisher holds an MBA from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
