Ms. Sorrell has served as interim CEO of the 20-bed critical access hospital since August 2018, after the former CEO Robert Seamon resigned for a new job opportunity.
Ms. Sorrell previously worked at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, N.Y., holding several leadership roles within its medical surgical units, outpatient services and the emergency department. Clifton-Fine is affiliated with Samaritan.
She earned her master of science in nursing degree from Minneapolis-based Walden University.
