Cleveland Clinic Innovations focuses on commercializing medical breakthroughs. Since it was founded in 2000, CCI has issued over 850 patents and executed more than 500 licenses on medical devices and techniques. Cleveland Clinic Ventures, a part of Cleveland Clinic Innovations, features a portfolio of spin-off companies.
Mr. O’Neill has worked at CCI for more than 10 years, serving in a number of leadership roles. He has served as director of commercialization and chief executive of a CCI spin-off company. He previously worked as deputy director of the Great Lakes Industrial Technology Commercialization Center.
Mr. Miner previously served as director of the Venture Center at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He helped launch more than 50 startup companies and worked with a portfolio of more than 300 emerging technologies while serving in that role.
