Dover, Ohio-based Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital has named Kavitha Subramanian, MD, vice president and chief medical officer.
Dr. Subramanian currently serves as the division chief of hospital medicine for Cleveland Clinic Akron (Ohio) General for Sound Physicians, and system medical director for hospital medicine for Union, Akron General and Mercy hospitals, according to an Aug. 15 system news release. She will step into her new role Oct. 14.
She replaces Thomas Rogers, MD, who was appointed vice president and CMO at Medina (Ohio) Hospital in June.
