City of Hope appoints regional CIO

David Strickland has been named regional CIO of Duarte, Calif.-based City of Hope.

Mr. Strickland previously worked at Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente for nearly 20 years, finishing his time there as vice president of product management and virtual care. He will oversee technology strategy for the cancer center at sites in Atlanta, Chicago and Phoenix.

He reports to Simon Nazarian, executive vice president and chief digital and technology officer, who is also a Kaiser Permanente veteran.
