ChristianaCare expands chief strategy officer’s role

Newark, Del.-based ChristianaCare has promoted Jenn Schwartz to executive vice president, effective immediately, while she continues in her role as chief strategy officer.

Sarah Goncher was also named chief legal officer and corporate secretary, according to a Jan. 20 health system news release.

Ms. Schwartz will maintain her direct reporting line to President and CEO Janice Nevin, MD, with an expanded portfolio reflecting the health system’s focus on growth, innovation and care access. She has helped guide ChristianaCare’s strategic direction for nearly eight years, having joined the system in 2018.

Prior to this promotion, Ms. Schwartz served as chief strategy and legal officer. She recently led a systemwide strategic realignment aimed at strengthening ChristianaCare’s foundation and sharpening its organizational impact.
