Orange, Calif.-based CHOC Children’s appointed Doug Corbin vice president and chief development officer of the CHOC Children’s Foundation.

1. Mr. Corbin most recently served as senior director of planned giving at the foundation, CHOC Children’s fundraising arm.

2. He previously served as assistant vice chancellor at Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif.

3. He has also worked with numerous other charitable organizations, such as the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and the Motion Picture and Television Fund.
