Mr. Oxendale oversaw the construction of the new facility, which opened one month ago, and had planned for some time to exit after the hospital’s opening, according to the report.
Mr. Oxendale has been with Children’s since 1995 and will stay on for the remainder of the year, where he will assist with the hiring of his successor.
