New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health announced a shift in three chief nursing positions.
1. Marianna Vazquez, RN, chief nursing officer and associate executive director of patient care services at Plainview and Syosset Hospitals, will retire after a 51-year career in healthcare. She stepped into the position in 1998, according to a May 7 news release.
2. Theresa Dillman, DNP, MSN, RN, will succeed Ms. Vazquez as CNO at Plainview and Syosset Hospitals. Dr. Dillman has worked at Northwell for 19 years, most recently serving as CNO for Glen Cove Hospital.
3. With Dr. Dillman stepping into her new role, Tameka Wallace, MSN-RN, CCRN, will take over as CNO and associate executive director of patient care and perioperative services at Glen Cove Hospital. Ms. Wallace most recently served as associate executive director of perioperative services at the hospital.
