Mr. Grimshaw is currently president of CHI St. Alexius Health-Williston (N.D.) Medical Center, a role he has held for the last seven years. He will continue in his current role in addition to taking on the expanded responsibilities of his new role. The presidents of the other three North Dakota-based hospitals — in Dickinson, Devils Lake and Carrington — will report to Mr. Grimshaw. Additionally, Mr. Grimshaw will coordinate system-wide strategy for CHI St. Alexius Health.

Dan Bjerknes, vice president of operations for CHI St. Alexius Williston, will remain in his role, but his responsibilities will expand.

“I am really excited about where we are headed as a regional system, and this new structure gives us the greatest opportunity for success by leveraging what’s best about our various organizations,” said Mr. Grimshaw in a statement.
