Dr. Sewalls was previously vice president of medical affairs for St. Charles Health System in Bend, Ore. He joined CHI Saint Joseph Health July 29.
He has also served as CMO of Baptist Health Madisonville (Ky.) and deputy chief of staff at the Lexington VA Medical Center.
Trained as an emergency medicine physician, Dr. Sewalls served as a staff physician in the emergency department at Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester.
