Chad Patrick to become CEO of Mission Hospital: 4 things to know

Asheville, N.C.-based Mission Health has selected Chad Patrick to serve as CEO of 763-bed Mission Hospital, also in Asheville, effective in mid-July.

Mission Health is an operating division of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare and part of its North Carolina division.

Four things to know:

1. Mr. Patrick most recently served CEO of HCA’s Orange Park Medical Center in Jacksonville, Fla.

2. During Mr. Patrick’s tenure, Orange Park Medical Center opened a heart and lung center, an inpatient rehabilitation center and a 42-bed patient tower.

3. He was previously division president of Brentwood, Tenn.-based RegionalCare Hospital Partners.

4. Mr. Patrick has also served as president and CEO of Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville, Ky., and CEO of Dayton (Ohio) Heart Hospital.
