Certive appoints senior corporate advisor: 3 things to know

Certive, a provider of healthcare revenue cycle management solutions, appointed Moe Vela as senior corporate advisor.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Vela.

1. Mr. Vela, a professional attorney, was CFO and senior advisor on Latino affairs to former Vice President Al Gore, according to a news release. He also was director of administration and a senior advisor to Vice President Joe Biden.

2. At Certive, he will serve as an advisor and “be hands-on in developing a comprehensive business development strategy and support efforts to implement the strategy by arranging direct meetings with decision makers at hospitals,” the company said.

3. He will also be involved in the company’s divisional leadership meetings and branding, as well as closing sales, according to the release.
