CEO returns to Florida HCA hospital

Mr. Patrick had previously served as CEO at Orange Park, but left in 2019 after a six-year tenure to become CEO of 853-bed HCA Mission Hospital in Asheville, N.C. 

During Mr. Patrick’s time at Mission Hospital, it opened a new patient tower, a mental health  and wellness center, and a burn and wound center, the release said. Greg Lowe has stepped in as CEO of Mission Hospital.

“Chad’s proven track record in hospital leadership, commitment to patients, colleagues and community will be instrumental as we continue to enhance our services to provide quality care for our community,” Hugh Tappan, president of HCA Healthcare’s South Atlantic Division, said in the release.

Before joining HCA Healthcare, Mr. Patrick served as division president for RegionalCare Hospital Partners in Brentwood, Tenn., and CEO of Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville, Ky. 

HCA Healthcare, based in Nashville, Tenn., operates 186 hospitals and approximately 2,400 care sites in 20 states and the United Kingdom, according to its website.
