The Robert S. Hudgens award honors an exceptional healthcare executive under 40 years of age who is a fellow of ACHE and holds a CEO or COO position in a healthcare organization.
Under Dr. Fesko’s tenure, Community Hospital has seen cultural and infrastructure changes leading to improved patient satisfaction and greater teamwork among senior leadership. Additionally, these changes have lead the hospital staff to perform at a high level, garnering the rating of Distinguished Hospital for Clinical Excellence every year under his tenure.
Dr. Fesko has served as CEO for nine years. Prior to that, he was a practicing Optometrist with Munster (Ind.) Eye Care Associates.
