Mr. Johnson was identified as Mr. Gutierrez’s successor in Dec. 2009, following an 11-month planning process for the former CEO’s departure.
Mr. Gutierrez will take responsibility for the hospital’s current projects, including a $115 million expansion project that includes the development of a 130,000-square-foot surgery pavilion and medical office.
