Administrator of Colorado’s Delta County Memorial Hospital Announces Retirement

Tom Mingen, the administrator of Delta (Colo.) County Memorial Hospital, has announced his intention to retire in Feb. 2012, according to a Delta County Independent report.

The hospital plans to start advertising for a new leader in Jan. 2011, with an application deadline of April 15. The board will announce its selection in September and the new administrator will start work in mid-November, according to the report.

During his eight year tenure as administrator of Delta County, Mr. Mingen has overseen construction of a new hospital and the recruitment of many physicians to expand the hospital’s reach.
