WellStar executive vice president Bonnie Wilson received notice last week that her contract would not be renewed. The board would not comment on whether the terminations were related, according to the report.

Jim Budzinski, WellStar’s executive vice president and CFO, was appointed acting president and CEO while the board conducts a national search for Mr. Simone’s replacement. Mr. Simone has led the hospital since 2007.
